Canadian Senior and Intermediate Mathematics Contests

The Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest (CSMC) and Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest (CIMC) are annual math competitions organized by the University of Waterloo’s Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) for Canadian and international high school students.
The CSMC is for Grade 11 and 12 students, while the CIMC is for Grade 9 and 10 students. Both contests are 2-hour, 60-mark competitions that assess problem-solving skills through a mix of answer-only and full-solution questions, with the goal of fostering a love for mathematics and analytical thinking.
